Ruth Parsons

Ruth is an NLP Practitioner, Master Practitioner and Advanced Hypnosis graduate of PQ Performance. Ruth joined the team as the Chef in 2018 when we moved the Academy out to Barcelona. During the Covid-19 lockdown of 2020 she took up the role as Head of Operations, providing pivotal customer relations, supporting Phil in all areas, organising courses and everything in-between.

Ruth is well known and loved by all of our previous students at the PQ Performance Academy, not only for providing amazing food each day at the Villa in Barcelona but also having the most infectious & bubbly character imaginable. The kitchen is the central hub of activity in the Villa, whether that be first thing in the morning after the more adventurous students finish their cold dip in the pool, or during breaks and meal-times, Ruth can be found having fun and chatting with everyone as she prepares the incredible food.

Ruth originally studied NLP after a rare cancer diagnosis, with the aim to learn more about herself and what direction she wanted her life to head; she hasn’t looked back since. Further to this, Ruth’s passion for food has allowed her to develop the menu in Barcelona providing healthy, nutritious and love-filled menus for the Academy courses. If you want to know where she is in the villa, just listen for the laughter, follow your nose and you’ll be sure to find her, she will always go out of her way to help you feel comfortable and at home on your course.
